3 original billheads for Wm Gardner & Sons Ltd of Bristol Road, Gloucester.
They are dated 1928, 1930 and 1949, all are addressed to John Hare of Henlow near Biggleswade in Bedfordshire.
Although the format of each billhead is the same the details vary between billheads.
The 1928 billhead describes the company as "Patentees & Engineers" by 1930 they were "Millwrights & Engineers" and in 1949 they were "Patentees & Engineers, Iron & metal founders". In each case their speciality seems to be bakery and milling equipment and illustrations of their products are shown on the billheads. The 1949 billhead shows a picture of their factory together with a list of the equipment they manufactured.
Sizes approx 270 x 210mm, the 1930 and 1949 letters are complete on a single page, the 2nd page of the 1928 letter is missing.
All have been folded and have some damage to the edges. They will be posted folded on original fold lines.
