A nice old postcard of Foxton Locks. Black and white photographic card. It looks like it was taken from the 'passing pool' in the middle of the flight.
On the left hand side you can see the chimney from the engine house of the Inclined Plane. Interestingly on the right of the card you can see chicken runs that must have belonged to the lock keeper or the man responsible for the Inclined Plane.
An attractive old card, it is unposted and undated but I would imagine that it from the early 1900s. No publisher details are given.
Good condition with only very slight rounding of corners.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
