A monochrome postcard of Christchurch Park in Ipswich, Suffolk. It is just titled The Park, Ipswich. As Christchurch Park was the first park in Ipswich it is likely that this was the only park at the time.
The view shows the park with the Round Pond in the foreground with Christchurch Mansion in the background.
Although it is a commercial postcard there are no publisher details given and so perhaps it was published by Ipswich Council.
It is postmarked 23rd March 1904 and was sent to a Miss Dowse in West Ashby near Horncastle, Lincolnshire.
The card is in good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
