This is a nice colour postcard of Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Inn in Nottingham. Reputed to be the oldest Inn in England and the place where pilgrims gathered on their pilgimage to Jerusalem.
It shows the Inn set below the cliff of Nottingham Castle and the Inn does extend into caves below the castle.
It is unposted and undated but I would think that it dates from the 1920's judging by the cars that can just be seen in the picture.
The publisher is not named, it does have a reference number on the back of 4608 suggesting that it is part of a series but it may have been issued by the Inn's owners. It is in good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
