A coloured card of Waterloo Place, which runs between Regent Street and Pall Mall in London.
The view shows the area at a time before it became as heavily trafficked as it is today with just horse drawn carriages and a mounted soldier. I have been through here many times and didn't realise that it wasn't just part of Regent Street.
The card is unposted and undated and so it is difficult to date, but the memorial was moved in 1914 so that other statues could be erected and this card predates that move.
It has a copyright to Hildeshheimer & Co and was printed in Bavaria, reference number 5292.
Slight bumping of corners and a very slight (hardly noticeable) crease top right, otherwise it is in good condition.
