A coloured postcard of The Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. This is the scene for the Remembrance Day ceremony every year.
A good view of the war memorial designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens to commemorate the people who died in WW1 and subsequently those who were killed in other wars. This must be Britain's most famous war memorial.
The view shows The Cenotaph just after Remembrance Day with all the wreaths around the base.
The card is undated and has not been posted but I would think it was published in the 1920's.
It was published as part of the National Series and has a short description of the scene on the rear of the card.
Slight bumping of corners otherwise it is in good condition.
