An old postcard of St Margaret's Church. The scene has now almost totally changed with only the Church being as shown in the picture.
Very interesting scene with a horse drawn tram in front of the Church. The picture is from Sanvey Gate with Pasture Lane just off on the right. The road in front of the Church would still have been Church Gate in those days.
The card was published by Hartmann and has their reference of 30735 on the back of the card and 2537-10 on the front.
It was posted in 1904 to an address in Stoneygate Road, Leicester.
It is in good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects, but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
