An old postcard of the Chapel on High Street in Evington. Good black and white photo although it is a bit over exposed. On the front it has the wording Evington Chapel, Nr Leicester.
It has a Leicester postmark for July 23rd 1900 and was posted to Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire.

The card was published by J Hallam, Park Vale P.O., Leicester, this Post Office is situated in St Saviour's Road.
When this card was published Evington would have been a separate village from Leicester,
