Ludgershall, High Street
A monochrome postcard of the High Street and Old Market Cross at Ludgershall in Wiltshire.
The card shows Yates Stores on the right and the Queens Head on the left. Some of the buildings are quite recognisable today, although the road is now in better condition.
Nice card published by Tomkins & Barrett of Swindon in their Famous Series. The card has the number 11 after the title and so I assume that was their reference number.
The postcard is unposted and undated but I would think that it dates from the 1910's or 20's
Good condition. There are 3 initials written in the top left corner on the back but these look like they date from when the card was first bought.
