hese cards showing pictures of old hotels and Public Houses were issued with Wills Cigarettes in 1939. This set is the 2nd series.
It is a set of 40 cards, each card has an illustration of the hotel or Public House on the front and a brief description on the back giving details of the building and its history.
The pubs and hotels shown on the cards are located throughout the country, including Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
The illustrations give a very evocative image of the various buildings and their setting.
The cards are approx 8 x 6.2cms.
