These cards show famous cricketers from the year 1934 and were issued with John Players Cigarettes.
They are a set of 50, each card has a head and shoulders picture of the cricketer on the front and a brief description of their career to date on the back.
The set features cricketers from County teams around England and Wales together with quite a few from Australia. There are some famous names from the time such as Jack Hobbs, Harold Larwood and Walter Hammond.
The cards are approx 6.5 x 3.5cm.
