Baby Teething Toy and rattle
This lovely colourful baby teething toy dates from the early 1950's.
Made of a colourful plastic it was intended to be a toy to amuse the baby as well as helping with teething. 4 of the 6 coloured discs are marked "Made in England and 2 have a registered design number dating it to 1950 or 1951.
There is no manufacturer's name on the toy although it is very similar to one that was made by Kiddicraft.
It has been quite well used and so there is some surface scratching but there is no damage and it still has the original metal chain.
This is definitely a toy for the 'grown up child' and is NOT suitable to give to babies.
