A sepia postcard titled, High Street from East, Guildford. The picture shows a fairly busy street scene with the Guildhall in the centre.
Good postcard issued by Valentine & Sons Ltd with their reference number G.9123.
The card itself is undated and unposted but on the back, written in biro, it says "Holiday 1952 Isle of Wight". As Guildford is obviously not on the Isle of Wight I assume the purchaser of the card stopped in Guildford en-route.
The front of the card is in good condition there is some damage to the corners on the back of the card.
