This is a Wilkinson Dry razor in its original case. Patented in 1944 by F W Knowles this razor was intended to do away with wet shaving and works on a similar principle to many of the early electric razors.
Having tried to use one they do not work very well and so it is not surprising that not many were made.
It has a chrome head and fits within a very curvy shaped case with a gilt Wilkinson logo on it. Overall it is very stylish.
Good condition, this is an excellent example of a Wilkinson Dry razor.
