The Clock Tower, Leicester, with city crest
Nice old photographic postcard of the Clock Tower in the centre of Leicester.
Quite a busy street scene with a tram en-route to Stoneygate in the foreground. It has the crest at the top of the card.
Published by A & G Taylor as part of their Orthochrome range. Reference number V.O. 1558. The card was printed in Saxony.
It is unposted and undated but I would think that it dates from around the time of WW1.
Good condition with only slight rounding of corners.
