Tilton on the Hill village, 1908 Leicestershire postcard
An nice old monochrome postcard of Tilton on the Hill Village. The view looks very similar today, although some of the trees have now gone.
It was posted to the Birmingham Workhouse in August 1908.
The message is that Connie does not want to go back to Birmingham as she is very comfy in Tilton! I should imagine that Tilton was preferable to the Birmingham Workhouse in the early 1900's.
